Child Find and Early to Exit IEP Supports Grant Meetings

  The grantee is responsible for maintaining a strong line of communication with TEA grant specialists and assisting TEA with the organization and facilitation of ESC member (i.e., representatives, trainers/coaches) responsibilities. Grantee will support ESC trainers/coaches (Evaluation & Transition) and representatives (ECSE) by: Hosting four (4) quarterly required meetings. ESC members should make every effort to attend ‘live’ meetings, participate actively, provide feedback, and collaborate with the grantee and other ESC members. If an ESC member(s) is excused from the quarterly meeting, he/she is expected to view the recording of the meeting. Facilitate virtual meetings called "forums" (no more than two hours each) with ESC trainers and coaches regarding topics of interest/need (at least four meeting will be offered). ESC trainers and coaches should participate in no less than two virtual forum meetings. Facilitate optional virtual meetings/forums (no more than two hours each) with ESC ECSE representatives in order to gather input and feedback regarding emerging needs of ECSE resource development. Offer four office hours sessions (no more than two hours each) for SB IEP trainers and coaches for the purpose of discussing training coaching barriers and brainstorm solutions.
